Hi there…and thanks for visiting my blog. I’m Lauren, and I’m on a quest to end the rat race.

I started pondering the idea of “lifestyle design” long before it was even a term. Essentially, I just knew that I hated working…but that I wasn’t necessarily lazy.

As of right now, I’m 28 and have had 10 jobs since finishing my undergraduate degree.  It’s not that I’m not good at what I do, it’s just that I get mind-numblingly bored with every job I have. And, I absolutely despise “corporate kool-aid.” You know what I’m talking about – branding sessions, Hawaiian Shirt Days, Biggest Loser competitions, etc.

I’m just so. over. it.

Oh, and if you’re wondering where the photo in my header image was taken, it’s Luxembourg. We woke up way too early our first morning there and decided to capture the sunrise. Gorgeous!
